Heavy-Duty Linear Rail CNC Router (800x600mm)

0 of 5 steps completed

  1. Step 01.01: Frame Squaring & Corner Bracing

Fasten 2080 extrusions with corner gusset plates. Measure corner-to-corner diagonals across the frame bed with a precision steel tape until lengths are identical.

  1. Step 02.01: Parallel Linear Rail Alignment

Fix rail A firmly against extrusion datum. Run the carriage across rail B with a dial indicator touching rail A to verify parallel alignment across the 800mm travel.

  1. Step 03.01: Mounting Z-Plate Leadscrew

Seat the 1605 ballscrew nut into the milled aluminum Z carriage plate and torque flexible shaft couplings to NEMA 23 motor.

  1. Step 04.01: Shielded Cable Grounding & Ferrite Beads

Route 4-conductor shielded motor cables through drag chains. Ground copper braid shielding strictly at the control box star ground plate.

  1. Step 05.01: Fly-Cutting Spoilboard Surface

Mount a 1-1/4" carbide flattening bit. Run a zig-zag pocketing toolpath with 40% stepover and 0.5mm depth of cut across the wasteboard.
