  1. Step 01.01: Cut and Sand Wood Block

    Cut the oak piece to five inches in length and sand all four edges smooth with medium sandpaper.

    Drill two shallow blind holes on the top surface matching the magnet diameter and depth

    Place a dab of epoxy into each pocket and press the disc magnets flush with the surface.

    Stick the adhesive felt along the bottom curved rest where the headphone headband will sit.
